The following companies have all hosted FJL interns in the past. Choose an industry you are interested in to get an idea of potential internship opportunities.
"Our interns were organized and learned the work tasks very fast. You are a very trusted employee, every task that was given to you was done at a very good level, you were very responsible for the work you received and the tasks were completed on You asked questions in order to understand the tasks better and the seniors were very pleased with the work that you did. You worked very well with Laura and split the work between you. We hope to see you again in Israel with the option of coming back to work with us."
- Karen Efrati, Tax Director
I was able to write code that helped the company secure more clients and find candidates to fulfill the company’s goal. I was also able to help other coworkers complete their task. I really enjoyed my internship and was very happy with its structure. I felt comfortable talking to my supervisor and making adjustments as needed. I honestly think it would have been nicer to have a longer internship (if the trip were longer) so I can feel that I contributed even more.
- Yael Shteyer, FJL Canada 2022
My internship with iAngels was an excellent experience. One of my main roles involved writing investment memos for our portfolio companies. I’m very grateful for FJL helping organise it.
- James Fenner, FJL UK 2021
Michael Shine & Partners has for the previous two years partnered with FJL for their Summer Internship Program. For us, it has been extremely successful! We have hosted interns who proved to be extremely helpful, and assisted with various tasks to ease the workload. Their enthusiasm was inspirational! We look forward to partnering with FJL for future programs!
- Anthony Hurwitz, Advocate
This was our second year partnering with FJL and we could not have been more pleased with the 2 interns who joined us this summer. Although it may have only been 6 weeks, the interns independantly performed strategic projects and important tasks that helped a variety of teams achieve their goals. The interns came to the office every day with an infectious positive attitude, and effortlessly became part of the team. It was a pleasure hosting the interns and we look forward to working together next year!
- Shoshi Goldstein, Marketing Director
This is Medasense’s second year hosting interns from the FJL program. And we look forwards to continuing this collaboration.
We consider it a privilege to provide the interns with their first experience in the medical device industry and to strengthen their ties to the Israeli community. It is a mutually beneficial program, in which the interns gain actual experience in their field of interest and Medasense is able to advance projects which otherwise may have been delayed.
- Mor Buchstav, Director of Clinical & Regulatory Affairs
In my time at Heymann Brothers, I set up their LinkedIn and boosted their business. I also did PR for their upcoming documentary and attended the premier. I loved my time there. No complaints and I will miss the team.
- Josie Francis, FJL UK 2022
I really enjoyed all aspects of my internship it was smooth sailing for all of it. I think Reuth is a great place for students to intern who are interested in health sciences and kinesiology. It was a great learning experience. It was a good mix of speaking with patients and also working on my own. I highly recommend this hospital for other interns.
- Jayme Burke, FJL Canada 2022
To be in Israel during the summer of 2021 was a blessing in itself, but to be waking up and traveling to Jerusalem to work with Fleur was truly a dream. This is where FJL can significantly aid Jewish students in their future careers, enabling students like myself to to sit in high level diplomatic meetings or to work on projects including establishing a twitter account for the city of Jerusalem.
- Edward Isaacs, FJL UK 2021
"The internship went very well! The team kept me very busy and they were warm and welcoming"
- Nathan Kay, UK 2022
"We ask interns what they hope to achieve/learn before they start their internship so that we can check back in at the end to see how the experience has met their expectations. It’s important to us that interns are immersed in the project to enable them to gain a real insight into the inner workings and hopefully inspire them to continue on in the profession."
- Gabrielle Harris, Lead Architect
I helped create a presentation about Artificial Intelligence in museum cataloging that my boss then presented at a conference in Pisa. I also cataloged works by finding out information such as: author, artist, publisher/editor, time, location, size, etc. to be published on the museum’s online database.
- Mel Douer, FJL USA 2022
My favorite experience in Israel was being fully immersed at my internship. I have made amazing connections and friendships there that I know I will have for a long time. This summer will be a turning point for me because I am starting my final year at college and starting to understand who I am and who I want to be.
- Jordan Taylor, FJL USA 2021
We have been working with FJL over the past few years and have been blessed to work with an amazing organization! Beyond the professionalism, the accuracy and calibre of the interns they send us professionally and personally, it is their personal attention that makes working with them such a pleasure.
- Mai Huri, HRBP and Talent Acquisition
I was fortunate enough to have my summer internship at Rothschild Tel Aviv, working in the M&A sector. Being able to apply my skills into this field of work was incredibly enjoyable, as I was able to integrate my knowledge of Chemistry (my university degree) into the understanding of the finances of healthcare/renewable energy companies. The overall insight I gained from this experience is paramount.
